Most ereaders will allow for reading and music however they will not do movies. You will need to look at a tablet PC or a laptop for that. Personally I do not recommend the ipad becuase its too expensive there are many great tablets out there that can acomplish what you are asking for a lot less then the ipad does. My Aluratek Libra Pro can acomplish the ebooks and music but not the video.
