Projekt Gutenberg-DE kannte ich schon, allerdings ist es da oft einiges an Arbeit ein Buch umzuwandeln ins Mobipocket Format (z.B. wenn ein Buch 17 Kapitel hat und man jedes Kapitel einzelnd kopieren muss).
