They said this morning that they are now using calcium chloride on the roads (as opposed to sodium chloride, I guess?) but that it doesn't seem to be working either because of how thick the ice is. I hadn't even thought about the fact that this stuff is going to be getting up under my car. If I ever get my car out of the driveway, of course.
