Thanks, that's interesting. When I type websters.com in Google, the first website listed is merriam-webster.com whereas when I type websters.com in my browser it redirects to dictionary.reference.com

In your Post #170 the link was: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Nigger and you wrote, "... Take a look at definition number 2, the slang version under '-noun' ..."

Look at the bottom of the dictionary entry, under Origin, it says: "Dictionary.com Unabridged Based on the Random House Dictionary ...", similarly, at the bottom of the World English Dictionary entry, it says, "Collins English Dictionary ..." and under the Word Origin & History entry it says, "Online Etymology Dictionary ...", and so on.

To look up a word in Merriam-Webster, I type the word merriam after the look-up word, in my browser (I use Chromium), and then click on the website at the top of Google list. To look up a word in the Oxford dictionary, Google oxford online.
