Good advice - I've been doing the same since I got my 505 and am still on the original battery. I go about 2 weeks between charges.

Here's a cheap PSP charger (about $4.00 taxes and shipping included). Personally, I just use one of these, plugging the DIN connector into my 505 (not the micro-USB connector).
