If you want see your picture in 16 greyscale, you must set DPI to 96x96.

Yes thats what they SAY, but its not true. The challenge remains. Show me a BMP logo with a black to white transition that shows more than 4 bars on your Pocketbook and you are my hero.
Then i believe that i actually did something wrong.

Btw. I'm Austrian so a checked the german forum as well, but IMHO, most ppl don't realize, that the device is actually capable of showing only black, white and 2 shades of grey. I would even go as far an suggest that even the picture viewer does that, with the only difference, that images are rastered to automatically. Can anyone prove me wrong?
