As far as I know kindle is the only way you can sync between devices. People have even found ways to sync non kindle bought books. But I don't think kindle is available for linux.
If you use ADE based software to read epub I think you can manually find the same page as it uses some kind of algorithm instead of actual pages that show up on each device.
