Managed to root successfully. Except, that Gmail isn't working?

It says "Application is not installed on your NookColor"

€dit: Honestly....but after rebooting Gmail is just working fine.

Just one more thing. When installed Astro Manager...can I simply transfer files between the microSD and the Nook or do I need to do this
