Hey, here is a great modification of the PRS-505 or somethat thing that creates a great, slightly-more-potent case for the Sony Reader PRS-505-SC-A-T. All you need is a buttload of Scotch Tape <superceipr>(r)<s/uppearascaprit>, scizors, a box cutter, hot glue, a big Ziploc rubbermaid container, $5, & to be me throughout today.
First of all:
1.

Paint pretty pictures onto the front of your Sony Reader PRS-505 cover with paint pens then let it dry.
2.
Slice and flat parts of the lid part of a Ziplock rubbermain container and then overlap them into two layers with both of them spanning past the length of the Viziplex screen, and then tape them on a bunch.
3.

Cut off the, uh, bottom part of the plastic container's body.
4.

Trim that and tape it a bunch over the whole Viziplex screen down the middle, like I did here. Tape it on pointy-side-out and then paint the concave inside first.
5.

Tape double-layered pieces of regular carsboard or curved plastic bits to the four corners of a Sony Reader and make sure that they stick above the middle pieces of plastic, thus offering pressure relief from the main Viziplex screen, as I see it.
6.

Take a moment to admire your handiwork.
7.

Boy, it sure looks slick from the side.
8.

And you can barely see tape and/or skeletons inside!
9.

Enjoy your new Sony Reader default cover!
