That's really cool, buying your flower at a mill. I've done Italian bread as well, but I usually make plain white bread.

We actually had a lot of fun eating it, trying to see different shapes in the slices. We had bear-shaped, Italy-shaped and even one that looked remarkably like Spock.

Someone gave me a book full of bread recipes this Christmas but I haven't really found the time to try any of them yet. If I come accross something really delicious, I'll let my fellow home bakers know
