With Diogenes and the TLG, you click on a word and its dictionary entry comes up. I'm not sure if the New Testament is included in the demo package, but it's worth the effort to try it out. Also:

for those links! I put them in my new Greek Learning folder and I'll check them out later. Your encouragement means a lot.

I was surprised at how well (although not very quickly) I could understand the names on the list in Matthew. Some of the names, like David and Isaac, were pretty straightforward and easy to recognize, while others, like Christ (strictly speaking a title, not a name) and Abraham, were a bit more challenging. It's not easy, but I'm motivated and it's coming. The Greek flashcard app for the iPad has been really helpful.
