I am able to convert all PDFs into quality ebooks for my device. That said, however, I would like a bigger screen. Because, you ARE only able to see a small part of a PDF page at a time if it has to be readable.
But I am, especially thanks to PDFLRFWIN, which is a brilliant little program that unfortunately was discontinued due to some GPL violation, able to read both articles and technical books.

Generally, I would say that you have to convert or process your PDFs in some way to read them on a 6" screen...
I also read PDFs on my 505. Quite a few, actually. I really would like a larger screen, however, for home use. I use Briss to fine tune my PDFs, you might want to check that program out, too. It's free and I've had good results with it. It's also easy to use.
