I predict that there is a sufficiently large market for cheap (50$ or below), robust (unbreakable), semi-rugged (think water- and sandproof) dedicated reading devices, using e-ink or a similar technology, providing high contrast and great battery life. Black and white for now, color eventually.

Will there be tablets as well? Of course. Will Kindle run on those? Obviously. These markets are not exclusive.
