Hot buttered popcorn. With real butter, not that artificial butter flavored oil junk they try to foist off on microwave popcorn users.
I buy my popcorn in 8lb jars. Good 'ol Orville. I go though the jar in less than two months cuz I love popcorn and eat it almost every night. Good snack and not fattening. But I never put anything on it except salt so today's craving comes as quite a surprise. Butter will certainly up the calorie count.
I want a new popcorn maker too. I've used a 'WhirlyPop' pan for many years and loved them. Last year I accidentally destroyed mine and ordered a new one... Feh! It seems as if they reduced the thickness of the pot's metal and it's horrid! Doesn't heat evenly, the stirring paddles don't contact the bottom of the pan evenly, the handle looks and feels cheap. I've got to locate a maker who uses real steel and get a new one!
