Taya, it's good to hear that your Nook worked fine. I do wish it had the pearl e-ink, but it looks like nothing will be exactly what I want and I may consider getting one anyway.

the Sony 650 doesnt have 3G or wireless, tbh it depends on how often you are in an area with wireless access and are actually going to use it.
I have the 650 and I love it, the touch screen is amazing and works great (also has a english/french dictionary). However you dont want to spend that much I have heard good things about the Nook, pocketbook and the Kobo.
