I hope it spreads to other countries, too. Alternatively, I wish I had enough friends in the local area to throw a random book party with. I need to get with the friends who are at least semi-nearby on such a thing.
Affinity is in my to-read pile, along with The Night Watch. I've read Tipping the Velvet, too, but it didn't really stand out of me.
