Seriously, though, you can see the whole original post as I quoted it before my advice.

I don't feel personally insulted by anyone's dislike of it, either. The OP was blaming the object for his/her own mistakes and demanding that we fix "the problem" for him/her.

It's difficult to explain "tone" in speech. Read it in my quote and you will see what I mean. The wording of it just put people on the defensive.
