Okay, I'm terrified that I already know the answer to this question, but...

I'm the relatively happy owner of a PRS-600 and I'm looking at picking up a Velocity Cruz at Staples (on sale for $120) - will I be able to register it as an authorized device with the Sony Reader store, or will I have to put on my eye patch and parrot and strip off the copy protection of my various purchased epubs?

I mean, I know how to do that, but at my age I look kind of silly wearing a pirate hat.
