The display is a very purty LCD screen. E-ink it ain't, but still very nice for an LCD screen, and much easier to read in direct sunlight than the screen on my AT&T Tilt 2 smartphone.

Battery life is where the NC really sucks, but I knew it going into this. My K3 typically last 3 weeks with very heavy reading. The NC is rated for about 8 hours, and my informal tests in the past 2.5 days have yielded me about 8-10 hours.
