I just downloaded a book to my K4PC that I don't have on my K3 as a test. I moved it from the MyKindle folder to my K3. When I try to open it up I get the message:

This item cannot be opened because it is licensed to a different user. Delete the item and download it from your Archived Items or purchase a copy from the Kindle store.

I guess the file (not the book) is DRMd to the device.
