Hi, all,

I currently live in China, where I can purchase an X60S for ~US$190. It would be my first ereader. I'm primarily interested in reading .pdf files (text-only journal articles and various books) as well as epubs downloaded from Project Gutenberg.

Do you think that the device (a) will serve my needs well and (b) is good value for money?

I was initially inclined towards a Kindle 3, since they are so inexpensive, but the pdf support sounds as if it would not work for my needs.
