That's OK sun surfer, I'll probably read about 60 to 75 books this year. It's not a competition, just a way to challenge yourself ! It's also a great way to keep track of the things you read and see what other people read.

We have another thread for book lists, and possibly have it stickied too. Each person can have a post that they list their books in and edit it (if they want), AND/or when they start or finish a book, they can post that in this thread, possibly with their updated "read" list, and a review if they like. It's really each person's choice how they want to use this thread. It will also be large and unwieldy too, but that's OK, and we will try to limit posting in this thread to only posting when you've started/finished a book, reviews and lists, with no commenting on others' posts. If someone wants to comment on a review or list, they can in the other thread.

It's seems like you understood everything that's been said, cause that's the idea me and some other people have introduced here. Only you explained it way better than me. I'm lazy, less words is better

Basically, we won't use the group page because of the limitations mentioned, but someone who really wants to have their own thread (as some in this thread seem to want) can use the group page to do so in addition to using our book lists thread here (since most of us will be using the threads here).

Seems like a good compromise to me !

The main reason for keeping the two threads separate is to make sure people can find their list to edit it. If you mingle the two, the thread will become really unwieldy and no-one will be able to find their own list anymore.
