I think one thread where everyone lists his books will have the same problems as the one thread per person idea. I probably won't read everyone's list anyway (that's a book in itself
), but just the list of people I know have similar taste or I'm 'friendly' with. But that's where the discussion thread comes in. People can talk about a really good book they've read, that way everyone who follows this discussion thread will be aware of the highly recommended books.
