An additional advantage of everyone being on the same thread is that when someone finishes/adds a new book, that post will be brought to the top where more people will see it. Nobody will be burried behind pages and pages of threads in the deep, dark recesses of forum cellar.
So instead of editing our original post, we just keep posting a new comment as we finish?

I can see pros and cons for each way.
