Welcome to the forum! I'm not sure about the ability to transfer from itouch/ipad- what types of books are you using? Kindle and ibook have drm, so they wouldn't transfer unless you liberated the drm and converted to .epub, I believe. You can google for more information about liberating drm (it's a taboo topic on this board due to ethical issues). I'd post this question on the nook board (on the main forum list, there's one for "barnes & noble nook). Be specific with your needs and you'll get some information.
