I think I agree with Catlady. I'm confused.
In order to simplify it, why don't we:
1) Have ONE thread to talk about books we have already read. In each comment in which we "report" our book, we can note what we are currently reading or will read next. That way we will get notifications when someone posts, otherwise everyone will get lost.
Also, we can use quotes.
2) KEEP the social group we already have and edit our booklist from there. We've already got it started.
