Personally speaking, I can't stand the taste of teas made with water heated in a microwave. The water tastes flat! Totally flat!

I've been told by coffee drinkers that microwaved water doesn't seem to have that effect when making coffee, but I've never found any Teaist (which is different from Taoist, although I am both,) who could stand the taste of tea made with nuked water.
