I signed up for the Muriel Spark and they're going to let us know by 28th Jan if we've been chosen to give the books away. I'll have to have a party or something. Fortunately there's plenty of time to organise it.

I read The Spy Who Came in From the Cold many years ago. Did you ever see the BBC adaptation of Smiley's People with Alex Guinness and Beryl Reid? It was made years ago, in the 1980s I think.
