Is your Kindle really fully charged? Try a reboot: hold the on/off button for about 15-20 sec to the right.-----wait a bit (have patience)----till the screen flashes and starts to reboot (guy under the tree and white thing under it loading)----wait a bit till the Kindle has loaded all of its books again. Try twice, if need be. Try to contact Amazon by mail if you can, if this doesn't work. Good luck.
