Both codes worked for me.

I'd been waiting for a good coupon to buy three titles at Kobo, since I missed the 50% off a while back. 35% isn't 50%, but it's still pretty good. 35%offbook worked on one title only for me, but FBREADING worked on the other two!

Woo-hoo!
