At this moment I have one audiobook going, one print book I've been reading mostly at lunch and such over the past week or so and one I just started today, and on my e-reader I have one current nonfiction book, one essay collection, one that I started a while ago to see if I could get into it (yes, but I decided to read the rest of it later), and one huge book of movie reviews that I read a couple of every so often; I don't count the last two as "currently reading".

One book at a time is absolutely inconceivable to me!
