Sounds like a good deal. I have a generic mp3 player I never use. Just trying to think if there's anything I need from the Sony Style store. I suppose I could always buy blank DVD-Roms
But, I would much rather have a gift card to the Reader store to spend on books.

The FAQs state a Sony Style Gift Card will be issued. So, provided they're regular Sony Style Gift Cards, you should be able to combine them (you're allowed to combine up to 20 on a single item according the cs rep I chatted with). But I'm not sure if there's a limit on the number of devices you can send in or not.
