I didn't mean I spent hours reading the Kindle manual. I never read manuals except when necessary for a quick reference. Always dive in without a clue. No I meant user info on calibre and sigil, because their creators' posts made me feel guilty I hadn't yet before I should ask questions. And then some of the tech info.

The Kindle itself was hands on intuitive and great. The Kindle-Mac application on my Mac is appallingly bad, not in the sense of buggy, but that it's not useful for much.
