I buy myself an E65 as a Christmas present and I have information that can be of interest to other owners:
As I'm a linux and opensource passionate, the first thing I did was to request to Samsung the publication of all opensource code used in the firmware of the E65, as in the site opensource.samsung.com they had published only the E60 code.
It was refreshing how quickly they answered to my request. If you head now to opensource.samsung.com you can find all the E65 opensource code, as well as firmware images for the french and spanish versions, and information about how to build and install your own modifications.
I plan to take a look into it. Nothing serious, but who knows if I can learn something while playing.
