No offense, but as a reader, i want the loose ends tied up or I feel a vague dissatisfaction and may not go back to that author again.

And again a vague uncomfortable feeling if there is no clear delimiter of the end. Hence the publishing industry worldwide should decide on a symbol to indicate the end of a block of something, and stick to it for everything. Symbol not words because of multiple language issue. imho, purely as a reader.
