Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but font sizes shouldn't be hard coded in epubs. I just had to take the font size out of the css code in a free epub from the Phoenix Pick Catalog (I used Sigil). Otherwise I couldn't resize it in Stanza for iPad. If you convert epub->epub in Calibre, it will fix it as well.
