While the idea is enticing, it would be very ethically dicey for me to do so. Even giving free advice can create an attorney-client relationship, and I could still be held responsible to the bar and the law if I gave incorrect advice to someone not in my jurisdiction. Yes, even if i warn them that it may not be true for where they are, they could still turn around and sue me for it if my advice leads them (or they at least say it leads them) into doing something detrimental.
