I finished this one. Great story!

I've given it 3.5/5 (I'm a pretty conservative marker so that's actually means very good).

Here's some comments I wrote on GoodReads:

Quote:
This was a great little story. The plot was full of adventure, twists and turns, portentious character revelations, mysterious powers and absinth.

I could quite easily see this developed into a family movie a la Golden Compass.

The story leaves things open for a sequel and I'm sure I'll be in the line to purchase it if it arrives.

There was one obvious mistake that I saw that should have been picked up in editing, but otherwise the story was without too many problems.
I can tell you about the error I thought I saw by PM if you're interested.

So is there going to be a sequel for this book? If so, I'm really looking forward to it.

Regards
Caleb
