I'm thinking we'd be better off starting a new thread for the books we are reading instead of using the social group. Who agrees or disagrees?

I agree. Although we can edit our own posts, there is a limit as far as characters allowed.B ut I would much rather be able to discuss what everyone is reading withing that thread.
Plus, I get what you're saying about the rules. I'm on the fence myself as I still have the same 50 pages (or so) to read that I had 3 days ago and may not finish for another day or two (I've been spending all of my free time here.

Anyway, I'm still not sure if I will count my current book towards 2011 or not.

With Terminator's permission, maybe we should each start our own threads, without requiring the moderators to do anything. I don't see why that wouldn't work, provided that the forum can accommodate the number of posters we have.

I like the idea of our all having our own threads in the group. It lends itself to better management, and as I stated earlier, discussing the books is a big part of the fun.
