You can take notes on the Nook but it is suppose to be a bit of a pain in the butt. The Kindle allows you to take notes, highlight, and use the dictionary very easily. There is also a website you can go to to look at your notes and highlighted passages off of the Kindle. This is handy if you want to print something out or are looking for a specific note or highlight.
