73 degrees F, partly cloudy, sunshine at the moment. First decent weekend day since frost hit the bananas, so I went out trimming the landscape this morning.
As I was picking up some sheared off ginger stalks, I tugged on a vine. Turned out it came with three sweet potatoes attached. My wife cooked them up, served with a bit of butter, and we're eating sweet potatoes that are maybe thirty minutes out of the ground, in January.
Thank you Florida, this makes up for July, August and hurricanes!
