If I'm right the answer is Yes and no as it exists now. Currently you can't send a cover to your device with a text file. You can convert that text file to a ePub and send the ePub to your device and the 350 should create a thumbnail from the cover included in the epub.
When converting text files to ePub you may have to select appropriate
text input options during conversion.
