This article is from the beginning of October and says:

"The company promises a software upgrade in the immediate future, and a big update in November and December that will both add features and fix bugs"

Does anyone know if this has actually happened?

This is a very sharp looking reader and would be great for one of my daughters who doesn't read enough to warrant a higher priced reader.
