Ibuprofen works great for my head and neck aches and I finally found two things that help surpress the itchy coughs: 1. ice cream, had some scoop ice cream tonight and it worked, tomorrow I'm going to see if popsicles also work. 2. A type of salty licorice my dictionary hasn't got a translation for (salmiak drop).
I've also starting to get a runny nose and sneezing fits, the latter one is great fun when you're also in the middle of a coughing fit
