Reading entire books on an iPod when other options are available may in fact be ridiculous, but if you're commuting through the city or a passenger on a long drive, this might be a nice way of skimming some text or reading part of something you don't want to carry around with you. Having a reference document of something like the Bible might also be handy if you're into that kind of thing.

A new version is out now that automatically gets books from online and loads them for you, so it's pretty simple to browse through and pick up books with minimal hassle.
