Kedgeree is a dish of flaked smoked haddock and onion, cooked with rice flavoured with turmeric, coriander, cumin and garlic. Served with hard boiled egg quarters as a garnish, it is traditionally a breakfast dish originating, I believe, in India during our Empire days.
