@Mike L - Really? It was an arbitrary decision on my part, I figured it would actually make it easier to read and more importantly search, as each item is distinguished from one another (can't confuse the book title with the author, for example). Any suggestions on an alternative?

@HarryT - You have a definite point there, but for the sole fact of being the Kindle, which commands a fair bit more market share than the Nook, I'd say this move has a good chance of being revolutionary in altering the fundamental way we approach purchasing and reading eBooks. It also signals the first real consensus shift towards adopting the concept pioneered by Barnes and Noble - it wouldn't be surprising at this point if everyone adopted the loaning strategy in an effort to be competitive. If that were to be the case, then sites like KindleMore.com for instance would be able to radically alter the way people could obtain commercial books - they could now obtain a very significant portion of them for free.
