Call Kindle Customer Service and voice your opinion. It is a free call. I am sure there is an email address you can send it to. I am sure it will join the large pile of similar emails and phone calls and message board posts.
There is no blemish, there is a business decision you don't agree with. The site works great for millions of folks using Kindles and Kindle apps. The solution is easy enough and even free.
