Yebbut - it doesn't seem to want to :

a work in the calibre reader
b convert from epub to anything else (pdf or mobi) - seems to stall at 47% of conversion process

It reads in the Adobe Digital Editions ... what I really want to do is make a pdf and then, selectively, print parts of that as an offline reference (I'm ols fashioned!!)
