That's what I used to think - but MAN - I have just LOVED borrowing some great books! If I like them enough, I may buy them to keep and read again, but I've totally enjoyed FREE reading - which is a totally new concept for me! I used to buy everything and spend hundreds of dollars each year on books!

As far as my online library goes: most popular books are already 'checked-out', so I put them on hold (and I can do 5 holds at a time and have 5 books checked-out at a time). By the time my hold comes off (I get a handy email to let me know), I am usually done one of the books I already have checked out. The longest I've had to wait for a book is 6 weeks (that was The Confession by John Grisham) - so I can see being a bit inpatient for the bestsellers, so I may buy some of my favourites when they come out if I am anxious to read them.
